This begins after the Bennet sisters leave Netherfield - after Jane's illness and before the Ball. I just pictured Lizzy as having to get out of the house away from Mr. Collins, and who better to run into than Mr. Darcy. Also, in P&P Lizzy does not ride horses like Jane, but here she does. I just can not see the sedate Jane liking to ride while the spirited Lizzy does not.
