The story being posted here began as an experiment in spontaneous writing with four authors, each depicting the point of view of her own character. Since it was first posted on a message board in pieces, and was therefore not really in chapter form, and since it also focused on two love stories rather than one, we began to polish it into a narrative, deriving from it a story focusing on Elizabeth and Darcy, those being our characters.
The authors, Laura and Sylwia, would like to thank Tina and Gail for all the fun and inspiration in the writing of the original story. Some of their characters such as Holly, Brougham and Mrs. Tournier can still be found in our story, however they have been liberally rewritten to suit our needs.
Scotch and Sirens is a derivative story based on pre-existing work that has been dramatically re-edited and rewritten. This story is written by Laura and Sylwia, and they own full © copyrights to it.
